На Пасху главное блюдо – баранина с жареными артишоками, салатом из сладкого перца, оливок и помидоров, соленый пирог с яйцами и сыром. Также на столе должна присутствовать коломба – это что-то вроде нашей пасхи, но с более лимонным ароматом. Часто она покрывается миндалём и миндальной глазурью. На следующий день после Пасхи у итальянцев принято ходить на пикники с соседями и друзьями семьи.
Понедельник — день пикника. Как правило, итальянцы выезжают из города в компании друзей. В эти дни погода приятная и теплая. Такой отдых становится отличной возможностью немного позагорать и погреться в лучах еще не жаркого солнца. Многие устраивают пикник в близлежащем парке.
Пикник организован в соответствии с пасхальными традициями. Например, при покупке бумажной посуды и салфеток итальянцы предпочитают типичные цвета пасхального периода: зеленый, желтый, синий.
Once upon a time there was a boy called Jack. He lived with his
mother. They were very poor. All they had was a cow.
One morning, Jack’s mother told Jack to take their cow to market
and sell her. On the way, Jack met a man. He gave Jack some magic
beans for the cow.
Jack took the beans and went back home. When Jack’s mother saw the beans she was very angry.
She threw the beans out of the window.
The next morning, Jack looked out of the window. There was a giant beanstalk. He went outside and
started to climb the beanstalk.
He climbed up to the sky through the clouds. Jack saw a beautiful castle. He went inside.
Jack heard a voice. ‘Fee, fi, fo, fum!’ Jack ran into a cupboard.
An enormous giant came into the room and sat down. On the table there was a hen and a golden
harp.
‘Lay!’ said the giant. The hen laid an egg. It was made of gold. ‘Sing!’ said the giant. The harp began to
sing. Soon the giant was asleep.
Jack jumped out of the cupboard. He took the hen and the harp. Suddenly, the harp sang, ‘Help,
master!’
The giant woke up and shouted, ‘Fee, fi, fo, fum!’ Jack ran and started climbing down the beanstalk.
The giant came down after him.
Jack shouted, ‘Mother! Help!’ Jack’s mother took an axe and chopped down the beanstalk. The giant
fell and crashed to the ground. Nobody ever saw him again.
With the golden eggs and the magic harp, Jack and his mother lived happily ever after․

Հեռավոր մի գյուղի տներից մեկում մի շուն էր ապրում։ Նրան Շեկո էին կանչում։ Շեկոն շատ բարի ու հավատարիմ շուն էր։Նա շատ երկար տարիներ էր ծառայում իր տիրոջը։ Բայց օրերից մի օր,երբ Շեկոն մեծացավ,նրա տեսողությունը վատացավ, սկսեց վատ լսել, և տերը վռնդեց նրան տնից:
-Հեռացիր ասաց , եթե չես կարող ինձ օգտակար լինել։
Շեկոն դուրս եկավ գյուղից և գնաց՝ ուր աչքը կտրի։ Գնաց-գնաց ու ճանապարհին հանդիպեց մի աղջնակի, որը զբոսնում էր իր ընկերների հետ։ Աղջիկը նկատեց Շեկոյին և սկսեց շոյել նրան։-Դու հասկանու՞մ ես շների լեզուն,- հարցրեց Շեկոն աղջկան։
-Հա՛, մի քիչ հասկանում եմ,- համեստորեն պատասխանեց աղջիկը։
-Լավ է,- ասաց Շեկոն,-գոնե կխոսեմ մեկի հետ, սիրտս կթեթևանա։
Ու Շեկոն պատմեց իր հետ պատահածը: Անին և ընկերները լսեցին Շեկոյին, շատ տխրեցին և ասացին․
-Քո տերը շատ դաժան և անխիղճ մարդ է, և մենք կպատժենք նրան։
Ընկերները երկար մտածեցին և ելքը գտան։ Գիշերով գնացին գյուղ, թաքուն մոտեցան Շեկոյի տիրոջ տանը և սկսեցին թակել պատուհանները։ Գյուղացին վախեցած դուրս թռավ տնից՝ կարծելով, թե գողեր են։
-Է՜, իզուր դուրս արեցի Շեկոյին,-ամբողջ գիշեր կրկնում էր գյուղացին՝ ցանկապատի տակ նստած,-նա այս գողերի հախից կգար։
Շեկոն և ընկերները մի լավ ծիծաղեցին վախկոտ գյուղացու վրա։
Աղջնակը Շեկոյին առաջարկեց իր տանն ապրել։
Այսպես Շեկոն ձեռք բերեց նոր, իսկական ընկերներ և սկսեց ապրել իր բարեխիղճ և գեղեցիկ տիրուհու հետ։
